The minimum survivor pension is AMD 26,500, and in the case of a child who has lost both parents it is AMD 90,000.
The survivor’s (father’s or mother’s) pension is assigned to the following family members of the deceased breadwinner․
A child under 18 years of age
A brother, sister and grandchild under the age of 18, if their parents have a 3rd degree of disability in their ability to work,
If the cause of his/her disability is an illness from childhood, he/she was declared disabled before he/she reached the age of 18, and has a 3rd degree restriction on his/her ability to engage in work activities,
parents, a spouse who has reached the age entitling them to a retirement pension as of the date of their breadwinner’s death, or has been declared disabled, if they are not working,
a spouse or a person legally recognized as a guardian, regardless of age, if he/she is taking care of a child, a brother, a sister or a grandchild of the deceased breadwinner, who is eligible for pension according to the State Population Register of RA, is registered at the same place of residence (address) with him/her and is not working
another capable adult family member, regardless of age, if he/she is taking care of a child who lost two parents or the only parent under 14 years of age of the deceased breadwinner, according to the RA State population register, is registered at the same place of residence (address) with him/her and is not working.
Survivor’s pension is also granted to deceased breadwinner’s children, who are getting full-time (full-time) education in an educational institution (before graduation, but before they are 26 years old).
The minimum survivor pension is AMD 26,500, and in case of a child who has lost both parents – AMD 90,000.
A person eligible for pension must submit an application for pension to any territorial department of the Unified Social Service with submission of passport, public services license plate, labor book of the deceased breadwinner, death certificate, marriage certificate. In case of studying in an educational institution, persons over 18 years old should also submit a certificate of full-time (full-time) study.
