Officials will be fined up to 2 million drams. The law comes into force on June 7

Amendments and additions were made to the Code of Administrative Offences, which will come into force on June 7.

Thus, failure by the seller in retail outlets of liquid fuel, compressed natural or liquefied petroleum or hydrocarbon gas information on the name of the fuel, the target value on the fuel distribution equipment will lead to a fine of 200 thousand drams against the official.

Repeated commission of the same act from the date of appointment within one year will cause a fine of 500 thousand drams for the official.
Lack of checked containers at the retail outlet of liquid fuel that meet the requirements approved by the Government of the Republic of Armenia and (or) violation of the rules and regulations of its metrology or violation of the order of installation and use, or failure to comply with the requirement of the consumer to sell liquid fuel through these containers will cause a fine of 500,000 drams for the official:
Repeated commission of the said act within a year will cause a fine of 1 million drams to be imposed on the official.
Non-implementation and/or violation of metrological rules and norms in the points of retail trade of liquid fuel, compressed natural or liquefied petroleum gas or hydrocarbon gas will result in a fine of 500 thousand drams for the official.

Repeated commission of the act within one year from the date of the penalty will cause a fine of 1 million drams for the official.
For selling liquid fuel, compressed natural or liquefied petroleum or hydrocarbon gas, which does not meet the requirements of technical regulations, the official will be fined 1 million drams. Repeated commission of the act within 1 year will be punished with a fine of 2 million drams.
